Greenlane System to be Installed at World’s Largest Dairy-Based Biogas to Biomethane CNG Project

Burnaby B.C., Sept 13th 2011 – Greenlane Biogas, a subsidiary of the Flotech Group of companies (founded in 1986), is pleased to confirm that it will install a 'Totara+' biogas upgrading system at the Fair Oaks Dairy farm in Indiana to process up to 1500 scfm (approximately 2500 Nm3/hr) of biogas. UTS Residual Processing, an Anaergia Company, will be integrating and operating the biogas upgrading plant which will upgrade biogas from the digestion of dairy manure at the Fair Oaks Farm. The intent is to produce renewable natural gas suitable for fuelling a fleet of over 42 trucks hauling raw milk. The remainder being injected into the local natural gas pipeline network.

Bernie Sheff, President of UTS-Residual Processing said: "UTS-RP completed a thorough assessment of the biogas upgrading technologies available and selected Greenlane due to their system's reliability, high methane yields, and overall cost. Greenlane's experience in Europe and Asia, along with the team they have been able to put together in North America, helped convince us that Greenlane has the expertise to complete this project to our satisfaction and also support the plant during operation. We are pleased to have Greenlane as a partner for this project."

Sean Mezei, President of Greenlane North America said: "This project at Fair Oaks will be a significant milestone for renewable vehicle fuelling in the US. We are looking forward to replicating in the US our years of experience providing high quality vehicle fuel in Europe, Japan and other countries."
