GENERAL INDUSTRIAL – HP
The Flotech HP series are ideal for compressors, hydraulics and heavy-duty oil cooling applications. Standard construction features stainless steel tubes, options include: duplex alloy construction for salt or brackish water; brass, cupro-nickel (CuNi) and other tube material selections.

STEAM CONDENSERS / CALORIFIERS – HPS, HPF, HU
Flotech HPS series are often selected for medium pressure steam powered heating systems. The design features a robust low cost, fixed tube sheet arrangement. The HPS units are ideal for steam systems running for long periods under steady conditions, such as tank heating or continuous hot water heating, with minimal thermal shock. The HPS has also found application as a pre-heater in natural gas pressure reduction stations.

HPF Series Condensers are normally chosen for steam heating systems, particularly on water and CIP applications with variable temperature conditions or when inlet water or CIP temperature is low, causing thermal shock conditions. The design features a floating tube sheet arrangement to reduce tube stresses. Standard material for tube-side construction is stainless steel, making these units ideal for acid or alkali wash systems.

KALLT HU series U-tube heat exchangers
Designed for high temperature applications, especially steam condensing or hot oil systems. Thïs model is selected when differential expansion makes a fixed tube sheet exchanger unsuitable and when conditions preclude a floating head type (HPF) selection.

HIGH PRESSURE – VHP and XVHP
These HX’s were one of Flotech’s first products, developed originally for 250+ bar gas compressors in the 1980's. Very High Pressure and eXtra VHP coolers are suitable for water-cooled compressor applications such as CNG, Compressed Oxygen, Argon etc. Suitable as inter-stage and after-coolers for compressor applications up to 400 bar (higher pressures available on request).
